Install, maintain, and repair electrical power, communications, lighting, and control systems in homes, businesses, and factories.

Introduction:

The purpose of this program is to prepare students for employment or advanced training in a variety of construction and electrical industries.

Program Structure

  1. Electrician Helper (300 Hours)
  2. Residential Electrician (450 Hours)
  3. Commerical Electrician (450 Hours)

1,200 Hours (Approx. 11/2 years) is required to complete this program. The length of time is also dependent upon enrollment (full-time/part-time) and the completion of the required competencies.

Requirements

Test Adult Basic Education (T.A.B.E.) scores required for the course:

  • Mathematics= 9
  • Language= 9
  • Reading= 9
